Injecting Dermal Fillers is an art and a science. At Inner Glow AestheticsMD, we carefully listen to all of your concerns, evaluate, and together, come up with a plan to meet and exceed your expectations. Cannula technique, as well as needles, may be used to inject fillers. Patient safety and good outcomes are always the top priority at Inner Glow AestheticsMD in Avon, CT. Dermal fillers are used to contour, balance and optimize facial features, creating a natural and more well appearance.

Dermal Fillers can be used to:

  • Reduce or eliminate wrinkles
  • Perform a Liquid Facelift
  • Raise scar depressions
  • Enhance and restore lips
  • Replace soft-tissue volume loss
  • Contour the jaw, cheeks, temples and chin
  • Volumize areas of facial hollowness
  • Brighten the under eye area
  • Lift sagging midface and jowls
  • Improve facial symmetry

Dermal fillers can help reverse the changes associated with aging. As we age, we experience a change in facial fat distribution, bone structure, and skin laxity. Fillers can restore the volume loss, lift the face, and improve wrinkles in a subtle, natural way without the downtime seen with a surgical approach.

Juvederm®

Juvederm® is a family of hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers, including Ultra, Ultra Plus, Voluma, Vollure and Volbella. Hyaluronate is a substance that naturally occurs in the human body and attracts moisture, thereby restoring lost volume in the areas it is placed. Fillers have different properties and the experienced staff at Inner Glow AestheticsMD in Avon, CT will discuss which treatments are best suited to achieve your goals. A combination of fillers is often required for best results and several sessions may be needed. Fillers last up to two years, depending on the filler and location. All hyaluronic fillers are reversible and can be dissolved.

Restylane®

The Restylane® line of HA fillers is used to smooth wrinkles and folds, provide natural lip enhancement, contour the face, and reverse the signs of aging in the face and hands. Restylane® fillers are HA and fully reversible. They are all formulated with lidocaine to increase patient comfort.

Restylane® Family of Dermal Fillers

Resylane® Kysse FDA approved for lip enhancements. It is formulated with XpreHAN Technology for flexible movement and natural-looking volume. It is used to enhance texture and shape of the lips. Kysse can also be used to fill fine lines, like smoker’s lines, above the lips. Results last up to one year.

Restylane® Refyneis used to help soften laugh lines, nasolabial folds and marionette lines. It is a flexible filler that integrates and creates natural results. Refyne is also great in the lips for a soft look.

Restylane® Defyne helps maintain natural expressions and create natural looking results. Defyne is used to fill deep laugh lines and give more volume to the lips.

Restylane® Lyft is a safe and effective HA filler used to create volume in the cheeks, chin and hands.

Restylane® L is a versatile filler, creating shape and restoring volume loss to contour the facial features. Restylane® L is the most popular filler to use in the under eye area, and is often used in the lips and nasolabial folds.

Radiesse+®

Radiesse+® is both a dermal filler and a collagen stimulator. It is made from calcium hydroxylapatite, a naturally occurring mineral that exists in our bones and teeth. Radiesse+® can be used to restore loss of volume to the cheeks, jawline and hands. It is formulated with lidocaine for increased comfort. Unlike HA fillers, Radiesse+® is not reversible and cannot be dissolved.

Hyper-Diluted Radiesse®

Radiesse+® can be blended with saline in different proportions to induce collagen production in the face, neck, cleavage area and the knees. This improves the quality of the skin and elasticity and creates a more youthful look. Multiple treatments are usually required for best results. The procedure is comfortable, with minimal to no downtime.

This is a great treatment for older patients to get natural looking results and avoid the overfilled look. Once a series of 2-4 treatments is completed, a single treatment once a year is recommended for maintenance, which is also very cost effective.

Results are enhanced by combining hyperdilute Radiesse with microneedling, which is another technique used to boost collagen, tighten skin and refine lines.

Liquid Facelift

A Liquid Facelift is a procedure in which dermal fillers and Botox are strategically placed to optimize the facial features in 4 Dimensions. We look at ourselves straight on but everyone sees us in 3D and our faces are constantly moving. Careful placement of dermal fillers and neuromodulators brings the facial features to a more balanced and optimal proportions, so we look fully refreshed.
